Cornell Dubilier Announces Its Acquisition of BC Components, Inc.

Liberty, SC (December 13, 2002) — Cornell Dubilier Acquisition Corp. announced today that it has acquired the DC electrolytic portion of BC Components, Inc., located in Columbia, SC, from BcComponents Holdings B.V. The Columbia facility is state of the art and manufactures screw terminal and snap-in electrolytic capacitors. Columbia sales in 2001 were $21 million.
