Cornell Dubilier Announces Its Acquisition of SEMCO

Liberty, SC, May 28, 2005 — Electronics Acquisition LLC, a subsidiary of Cornell Dubilier Electronics, Inc., announced today that it has acquired the Metal Clad Mica Capacitor Division of SEMCO (Silvered Electronic Mica Co.) located in Willimantic, CT.

On December 17, 2004 Electronics Acquisition LLC purchased the Dipped Mica Capacitor Division of Semco.

Semco has been a manufacturer of mica capacitors for over 25 years and will be a good fit with Cornell Dubilier's mica product line which is headquartered at its New Bedford, MA. facility.

This announcement marks the fifth acquisition that Cornell Dubilier has made in the past three years, including the distributor division of NACC Mallory Products Group, the DC Electrolytic portion of BC Components and York Capacitor Corporation.
