Cornell Dubilier Announces Its Acquisition of York Capacitor Corporation

Liberty, SC, February 12, 2004 — Cornell Dubilier announced today its purchase of York Capacitor Corporation of Winooski, Vermont. York, a leading manufacturer of AC capacitors for motor run, lighting, and power factor correction applications, has been servicing the industry for over 45 years. York has one of the broadest technical offerings in the AC industry with capacitance ranges up to 200 µF, voltages up to 4000 volts, and temperature ranges of 105°C for lighting applications.

This is the third acquisition Cornell Dubilier has made in the past two years. "The acquisition of York broadens our AC offering.
