Foil Slitter

OVERVIEW:

The Foil Slitter’s primary function is to cut rolls of foil to specified widths to be wound in electrolytic capacitors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of the Foil Slitter I include but are not limited to the following.

- Slit raw foil to widths per specifications.

- Make precision adjustments to equipment.

- Operate necessary equipment in safe yet efficient manner.

- Operate hoist system to load and unload slitter.

- Keep work area clean and neat.

- Other duties as assigned.

JOB PREREQUISITES:

- Ability to read and interpret specifications.

- Good attendance record.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Full body movement.

- Heavy lifting up to one hundred plus pounds.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

- Must wear mask. - Must wear safety glasses.
