MATERIAL HANDLER/FOIL CHECK

OVERVIEW:

The Operator will be responsible for assisting winder operator with material handling and foil checking.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of the Operator include, but are not limited to the following:

- Supply each winding machine with capacity check on each roll of foil.

- Supply all machines with materials; foil (anode & cathode) spacers, tape and tabs.

- Assist operators when required in loading machines with paper or foil.

- Read and interpret work orders to learn correct set-up.

- Plan and orient work load to keep up with  production lines.

- Deliver sections to next operation.

- Keep work area clean and neat.

- Other duties as assigned as required by supervisor.

JOB PREREQUISITES:

- Ability to read and interpret specifications.

- Good attendance record.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Full body movement.

- Good eyesight.

- Lifting not to exceed 75 pounds.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or equivalent.
