ELECTROLYTE MIX TECHNICIAN 1ST SHIFT Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Classification: Hourly Starting Pay: $13.00/HR
Reports to: Department Supervisor
Overview: The Electrolyte Mix Technician is responsible for the mixing and storing of electrolytes.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Mix electrolyte per specifications
- Use necessary lab equipment to measure and control mixes of electrolyte
- Handles and stores all chemicals in a safe and responsible manner
- Must maneuver mobile tanks throughout factory
- Use overhead hoist system
- Operate and maintain tab forming machine
- Keep work area neat and clean
- Other duties as assigned
Job Prerequisites
- Ability to read and interpret specifications
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn various measuring devices
- Chemical or lab experience a plus
- Good attendance record
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Full body movement/good eyesight
- Constant alertness
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to wear a respirator mask
