Floater

PRODUCTION FLOATER       

1^ST SHIFT         Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Classification: Hourly

Reports to: Department Supervisor

Overview: Fill in at various operations within the department.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Operate any equipment in respective production line to keep work flowing
• Pull parts as needed for job
• Fill in for absentees when required
• Work overtime as needed
• Keep area neat and clean

Job Prerequisites

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn various measuring devices
• Ability to learn various pieces of equipment
• Good attendance record
• Production experience a plus

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Full body movement/good eyesight
• Good hand eye coordination
• Constant alertness
• Exposure to some odors
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
